High-Protein Snacks: Fuel Your Day with Easy, Delicious Options

Whether you’re powering through a long workday, squeezing in a quick workout, or trying to stay full between meals, high-protein snacks are a game-changer. They help support muscle recovery, keep blood sugar stable, and reduce mindless snacking later in the day.

Here are some of our favorite go-to high-protein snacks—including a few quick recipes you can prep in advance.

Hard-Boiled Eggs with Everything Bagel Seasoning

  • Make a batch of eggs at the start of the week
  • Sprinkle with seasoning for extra flavor and crunch
  • Protein per 2 eggs: ~12g

Turkey & Cheese Roll-Ups

  • Roll deli turkey around a cheese stick or slice of cheese
  • Add a slice of cucumber or bell pepper inside for crunch, if desired
  • Protein per roll-up: ~10–12g

Greek Yogurt Protein Parfait

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or full-fat for creaminess)
  • 1–2 tsp honey or fruit jam
  • ¼ cup granola or chopped nuts
  • Optional: scoop of collagen or protein powder

Layer and enjoy!

  • Protein per serving: 15–30g (depending on protein powder used)

No-Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts
  • 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate protein powder

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  2. Roll into 1-inch balls
  3. Store in fridge for up to 1 week
  • Protein per bite: ~6–8g

High-Protein Smoothie To-Go

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or dairy milk
  • ½ banana or ½ cup berries
  • 1 tbsp nut butter
  • Handful of spinach (optional)

Blend and pour into cup

  • Protein: 20–25g
